The protest was agains the ongoing policies of the Costain led-ATC consortium. The company are refusing to pay the workers a peformance bonus for the project although many of the office based workers who havw never set foot on the site are guaranted a bonus. There are also increasing fears that as the project is wound down next year that workers will not be made by redundnant via an open and fair process.
