Sheffield council signs Construction Charter

Sheffield Council has become the latest local authority in Yorkshire to agree a minimum standards construction charter which will cover all the construction projects where is has an involvement.

The Charter was signed on Wednesday 6th April between Sheffield Deputy Council Leader Leigh Bramall and construction unions UCATT, GMB and Unite.

Wakefield Council agrees groundbreaking construction charter

Construction union UCATT have warmly welcomed the creation of a construction charter by Wakefield Council that sets minimum standards for all the local authorities’ construction projects.

The Charter was signed by Wakefield Council leader Peter Box on Wednesday 10th March alongside representatives of UCATT, Unite and GMB.
